Chrome Scrapbook 0.7 released

There is only one new feature in this release: Chrome Scrapbook now supports tags. Tags can be used to organize your saved pages in the way similar to directories. The difference is that there is nothing like subdirectories, but you can have several tags for one page. To add or remove tags please use page information dialog added in the previous version (accessible from pages list window after clicking on a button with pencil). Several tags can be separated with commas. Extra whitespace will be removed from tag names.

Chrome Scrapbook 0.6 released

There are a lot of internal changes in this version, but not so much user-visible ones. The user-visible changes include:

  • new edit button in the pages list that brings page information dialog. Using this dialog it is possible to change the page title and the original URL;
  • in the page information dialog it is also possible to add multi-line text notes;
  • to simplify exporting pages from the extension, the page information dialog contains a link called "Create a download link" (in English version). After clicking on this link another link will appear. It is possible to save page by right-clicking on this second link and choosing "Save Link As..." from the context menu.
I also added links to the extension home page, blog and issues tracker to the pages list.
